I followed the exploration of Rev. Jesse Routte, as he voguishly maneuvered through thick discrimination in a jim crowed Mobile, Al. Upon finding his story, I was open to researching Indian culture with ornate discoveries. For entertainment purposes I got wrapped up into watching the 1949 flim, Pinky, Kasi Lemmons' Harriet, and reading "Incognegro" by Mat Johnson.

 The parallel complex within all of these stimulating sources has been the act of committing and being transformed. Which is essentially the essence of fashion.

Crystals twinkle in the formation of Ursa Minor on the back of a hand painted quilted silk jacket with sea shell trim. pants inspired by military uniforms detailed with ankle buttons and a beloved gros grain inseam, manifesting itself as rail road tracks. Long loose-fitted Henley shirts. An off-white camp shirt with feather ornamentation designed to look like a floral garland. Black feathers provide a two-tone patchwork effect on a double breasted blazer with white satin buttons. The collection is everything but covert.
