CROPS OF HUSH HARBOR
crops of hush harbor is an exploration of heritage through a black american lens which was fixed on historic and cultural references. intuitive beliefs of romanticism and imposed practices of business causal are woven together throughout this collection to achieve coordinates inspired by european produced uniforms for west africans during the antebellum era of southern america mixed with silhouettes cropped straight from the 80's. cotton was picked to be the prominent fiber of this collection for its ease and comfortability. tailoring techniques such as beading, and pleating along with hexagon hand painting details are all incorporated within this body of work to consider a harmonious feel of luxury.
